A double bill of CGI chipmunk madness. 'Alvin and the Chipmunks' (2007) is a live action, big screen outing for everyone's favourite Chipmunks - Alvin, Simon and Theodore. Discovered and adopted by struggling songwriter Dave Seville (Jason Lee), the dynamic trio decide to join forces and embark on a singing career, performing Dave's songs. When success beckons however, unscrupulous record company boss Ian Hawke (David Cross) decides that he could make a lot more money from the boys if Dave was out of the picture. In the sequel 'Alvin and the Chipmunks 2' (2009), when Alvin (voice of Justin Long), Simon (Matthew Gray Gubler) and Theodore (Jesse McCartney) are forced to put aside their music superstardom and go back to school, they are given the challenge of saving the school's music department by winning the $25,000 prize in a battle of the bands. But the Chipmunks unexpectedly meet their match in three singing female chipmunks known as The Chipettes: Brittany (Anna Faris), Eleanor (Amy Poehler) and Jeanette (Christina Applegate). Romantic and musical sparks fly in the face off that ensues between The Chipmunks and The Chipettes.

The Chipmunks take to the high seas for this second animated comedy adventure sequel. When their luxury liner becomes grounded on a remote island during a tropical cruise, the Chipmunks soon discover their secluded paradise is not as deserted as it seems. As they struggle to contend with the heat, the insects and the close proximity to one another, the Chipmunks begin to develop a few very strange personality traits.

The film follows SpongeBob (voice of Tom Kenny) and the rest of the gang, including his arch-enemy Plankton (Doug Lawrence), as they track down the formula for the famous Krabby Patty, which has been stolen by a fiendish pirate called Burger Beard (Antonio Banderas).

Princess Chantik and the Outside World is the story of a young girl who lives in a perfect world. Though all of her needs are met, she knows that something is missing from her life. After receiving a message from a mysterious woman, she leaves her perfect world and finds herself in a world of darkness, injustice, and pain. There she learns that the heart of the world has been lost. It becomes her task to find it. In order to do this, she needs to climb the highest mountain, go to the end of the Earth, and find the center of the world. The truths she learns, and the adventures she lives through along the way, not only help her achieve her mission, but bring her the answer to her own dreams. This wonderful story, that can appeal to children of all ages from 8 to 80, is sumptuously illustrated by Gale Barkus.
